KLD/ED Inputs

1. How will this user be notified about the pending activity?

The user-selected by the Project Initiator for KLD/ED Inputs activity will be notified by an email.

Pidilite provides the user with multiple inboxes within the Workflow module which are programmed to receive different types of notifications. My Inbox stores notifications of pending tasks for a user.

My Inbox notifications are also shown on the home page under Dashboard.

2. How does this user launch the application from a notification email?

A notification email contains a table with a host of data pertaining to the request. The last row of this table is designated as Actions. Actions contain the hyperlink required to launch Pidilite and proceed directly to the task at hand.

3. How does the user learn about the Product Details, SKU, and Component details?

Request Info is the default tab displayed when you open an activity in a workflow. Details filled by the Initiator are available here.

4. Where does the user go to upload some additional files?

Go to Files to upload additional files. Choose the file type and the component type and click Add File to upload a file from your desktop.

5. Is the ELD/ED upload input activity mandatory?

The User needs to enter the KLD/ED Details like ED Necessity Yes or No from the drop-down, KLD/ED Ref is No then Comments are (mandatory).

Note: If ED Necessity selected as Yes then the User needs to attach KLD file against respective Component Type is mandatory.
